The SaaS Co. secures EUR 800,000 seed round financing for its AI product, LISA - Learning Intelligent Sales Agent

Peter Schlecht founded The SaaS Co. in April 2014 and was joined the same year by Florian Erlach. Based on Peter’s experience in sales and Florian’s background in finance and operations they created a scalable engine for B2B sales. In early 2016 Benjamin Projdakov joined the team as Chief Technology Officer, with a clear focus “to automate the sales service in a personal manner”.

Together they created LISA, an email bot based on artificial intelligence and natural language processing to increase the productivity of salespeople. Today, the team has 30 members, 17 are IT developers, including experts in machine learning and natural language processing coming from companies like Yandex and Nokia.

The SaaS Co. is backed by a group of experienced business angels from top telecommunication and logistics companies that provided EUR 500,000 in funding and a EUR 300,000 grant for promising innovation from the EU.

The funding will be used to improve the product, hire additional talent and to fund marketing. “Our goal for LISA is simple: to free salespeople from repetitive tasks so they can focus on creative ways to make their sales”, commented The SaaS Co.’s CEO Peter Schlecht on their development.
